Best Solicitors Onboarding Case Studies
Best Solicitors enlisted the help of CT towards the end of 2020. They had outgrown their current IT provider and were looking for a strategic IT support partner to help support their ambitious business goals and plans for growth. We wanted to make sure the transition to CT, which is known as ‘Onboarding’ was smooth and robust with minimal disruption.

CT recognised that an immediate upgrade to our back-up solution was needed to ensure data was protected, secure and meeting industry recommended best practice policies, which we immediately addressed.’
CT’s Service Management Team next gathered information about Best’s common IT problems, the history of the current infrastructure and their business plans for the coming years. This is seen as a vital step to ensure any frustrations are fully understood and addressed. CT’s Senior Project Engineer conducted an in-depth audit to identify any immediate technology risks and set up monitoring and automation tools across all systems and devices. It was at this stage CT identified a server that was under specified for its role and purpose and needed to be resolved to ensure systems remained safe and secure, significantly reducing the risk for any potential downtime.
Following the implementation of all the management and monitoring systems, the service went live – this process included the setup of all managed services such as anti-spam and anti-virus and assigning all end users to CT’s ticketing system. Best then moved into an eight-week period of special support to ensure everything was working smoothly and that all end users were comfortable and happy with raising tickets for any IT problems. The end user feedback throughout this period proved universally positive with a feedback rating of 4.8/5.
