3rd Line Technical Support Engineer

What is the role?

3rd Line Technical Support Engineer

You will be expected to provide third line assistance to more junior members of the team and assist the team leader to ensure team SLAs and KPIs are achieved. You will also provide assistance to the Project team when implementation new technical solutions for customers.

You will be expected to provide feedback and assist the team leader to ensure your individual and team SLAs and KPIs are achieved.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical training or assistance to other members of the team
  • Assist the 1st and 2nd line teams with escalations
  • Work to the contracted SLA’s and liaise with 3rd parties as appropriate, escalating potential failures within the team in a timely manner
  • Aid in the creation and management of a technical knowledge base and work closely within the team to increase technical knowledge and understanding of the business

Knowledge and Experience:

Extensive knowledge of Active Directory / Windows Servers / Exchange / 365 / Azure / virtualisation / Networking

You need to be:

A professional, self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. You are organised, adaptable and calm under pressure with a strong desire to continue to develop your skill set whilst working effectively and efficiently alone or as part of a team.
