Landmark Five-Year IT Collaboration Between Central Technology and Claims Consortium Group
Through this partnership, Central Technology will deliver tailored solutions to enhance CCG’s infrastructure, agility, and resilience – supporting their continued growth and leadership in the insurance claims sector.
Jim Burns, IT and Facilities Director at CCG remarks; “This partnership is structured to deliver substantial commercial and operational value. Over the next five years, Central Technology will work closely with CCG to reduce operational risk, elevate service levels, and enhance scalability across our IT infrastructure. Strategic IT and security reviews will be conducted regularly to ensure technology investments remain aligned with our evolving business goals.”
Under Central Technology’s Gold Managed IT Support Package, CCG will benefit from a fully outsourced IT support model. This includes 24/7 access to a dedicated service desk and onsite engineering support at CCG’s headquarters in Taunton. Legacy systems will be maintained to ensure operational continuity during the transition to modern platforms. Central Technology will also manage CCG’s Azure environment, with a focus on performance optimisation, stability, and cost control. Long-term cloud migration planning will support the move to services such as OneDrive and SharePoint, while integrated security solutions including ransomware detection, web filtering, and vulnerability testing will safeguard CCG’s digital assets.
Ian Snow, CEO of CT remarks, “Central Technology is proud to support Claims Consortium Group on this journey. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to delivering exceptional service, strategic value, and long-term success for our clients.
As part of the transition, CCG’s experienced support staff will transfer to Central Technology under the TUPE process. This talent integration has been carefully managed to ensure a smooth and supportive experience for all individuals involved. The incoming team will be fully integrated into Central Technology’s culture and operations from day one, preserving continuity for CCG while unlocking new career development opportunities. These individuals will gain access to broader resources, enhanced training, and clear progression pathways within a larger support framework.”
To support the demands of this strategic partnership, Central Technology will double the size of its Southwest office. This expansion reflects the company’s ability to scale rapidly in response to major opportunities and reinforces its commitment to delivering high-quality service across all regions.
CCG’s decision to engage in this partnership reflects its commitment to embracing digital transformation while maintaining operational continuity. Through modern authentication, endpoint management, and proactive support, CCG aims to enhance service delivery and scale its IT capabilities to support ambitious growth plans.
The partnership has been shaped by open dialogue and a shared vision for the future. Key contributors to the agreement include Al Stephens (Darwin Technologies) Jim Burns (IT & Facilities Director at CCG) and Matt Brady (CEO) whose collaboration ensured a seamless transition from initial tender to the signed contract.
