What is the role?

Account Management is a pivotal role in CT’s ambitions. The team build and maintain profitable, long term, relationships with a portfolio of CT clients and support their commercial and operational ambitions through the profitable delivery of solutions and contracted service levels. Success demands the ability to articulate compelling solutions to client needs and work with Service and Operational teams to consistently deliver above and beyond client expectations.  You will also be expected to add new business accounts to your portfolio through marketing campaigns and local business networking events. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Day to day relationship management of a portfolio of customer accounts  
• Effective pipeline and forecast management 
• Achievement of revenue and margin growth targets (and associated KPIs) 
• Building CT influence through positive exec and operational relationship development 
• Delivering appropriate and timely customer insights to CT influencers and decision makers (Product, Service, Marketing) in support of ongoing capability development 
• Build and develop a new business pipeline with a view of growing the Dorset customer base. 

Candidate profile: 

Successful Account Managers at CT typically have 2+ years’ experience in a similar IT services role and are comfortable managing £50k+ MRR accounts.  

Skills/experience:

• Understanding of revenue and profit management in a recurring revenue business 
• Diligent prioritisation and time management  
• Effective multi-channel communication skills 
• Technically confident and able to develop business cases for technical solutions 
• Compelling communicator of the business and operational impact of technology developments 
• Strong commercial competencies including qualification, deal management, negotiation, pipeline management, and forecasting

Location 

 This is a Office & Home based role with an emphasis on customer presence. The primary office location will be in Ferndown (Dorset) with occasional visits to our offices in Leicester & Chesterfield .
