As part of our CT Charity Initiatives we’re proud to announce that we’ll be making a charitable pledge to donate £1 to our chosen charity for every customer satisfaction survey completed!
This is automatically sent following the resolution of a customer’s query and we will be encouraging them to spend a minute completing the survey in the knowledge they’re helping a worthy charity. Not only will this initiative raise vital funds, it will provide us with invaluable feedback to improve our service to our customers. We will be looking to support one unique charity per quarter, with a total of four per year.
The chosen organisation for this quarter’s charitable initiative: Herriot Hospice Homecare
To launch our new charitable initiative we have chosen to support Herriot Hospice Homecare. They offer a range of services across 1,000 square miles, ensuring people affected by terminal illness across the Hambleton and Richmondshire districts can access high quality, personalised care, in their homes. They are also currently fundraising to open a new hospice in Thirsk, called Herriot Hospice@The Lambert, to help meet the demands for palliative care in the area further.
Robert Longden, Managing Director at CT explained why this is such an important cause and how it is something will resonate with people up and down the country. “It’s crucial to recognise the unique needs and challenges faced by remote rural communities like Thirsk, and the surrounding areas. Factors such as reduced investment in public transport, limited digital connectivity, and longer travel distances can significantly impact access to healthcare and related services. By supporting Herriot Hospice Homecare, we are contributing to ensuring that individuals in these communities can receive the appropriate care they need at the right time.”
The Chief Executive of Herriot Hospice Homecare, Tony Collins, expressed “We’re delighted that CT has chosen to support us as part of their latest fundraising initiative. Our care and support is powered by our communities, and we’d like to say a big thank you for the company’s support for our work across Hambleton and Richmondshire.”
