Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed certification scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against common cyber threats and demonstrate that fundamental security controls are in place.
Failure to achieve certification within the required timeframe risked impacting a significant commercial contract and could have restricted future opportunities with customers that require recognised cyber security standards from their suppliers.

This included reviewing security controls, addressing compliance gaps, implementing the necessary technical and policy changes, and providing guidance on both the technical requirements and the wider business implications of achieving recognised cyber security standards.
